The name's Nelly and I'm here to introduce you to my favorite spot for relaxation and recreation in Central Florida!

Nelson's Outdoor Resort, formerly known as Nelson's Fish Camp, has been a Central Florida camping and fishing destination since the 1950's. I wasn't around in those days, but these days it makes a great Central Florida camping and fishing destination. Read on to find out why!

Nelson's Outdoor Resort is set along the banks of the Oklawaha River (my old "stomping grounds") on State Route 42, near Lake Griffin on the Harris Chain of Lakes, Silver Springs, the Ocala National Forest and much more!

A Central Florida Fishing Paradise

The Oklawaha River and the Harris Chain of Lakes are prized for their fishing opportunities. I should know - I've been avoiding baited hooks around here since I can remember. Get out on your boat or enjoy fishing from our dock for Specks, Perch, Large Mouth Bass and more!

Away from the water, there are plenty more outdoor activities for the sportsman to enjoy.

Central Florida Marina & Boat Slips

Boaters take note: Nelson's offers a full-service marina with a variety of boat slips to accommodate your boats during your camping stay. Enjoy easy access to the Oklawaha River with their two boat ramps.
